Privacy Policy
Librie is a small team building software for readers. We collect as little information as we can get away with, and we don't sell any of it. This page explains what we do collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Last updated 19 April 2026.
Who we are
Librie is operated by Librie Pty Ltd. When we say “we,” “us,” or “Librie,” that’s who we mean. This policy covers the Librie website at https://librie.app and the forms on it.
What we collect, and why
We only collect information you give us through one of our forms:
- Waitlist: when you ask to hear when Shelfbound is ready, we collect your email address so we can email you about it. Every waitlist email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
- Contact: when you send us a message through the contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide so we can read your message and reply.
We don’t run analytics, track you across the web, or build a profile about you. The site doesn’t set cookies of its own, though our hosting provider may set short-lived technical cookies to protect the site from abuse.
Who else sees your information
To run the site and respond to you, a few trusted services process the data you submit on our behalf:
- Resend stores your waitlist email address and sends the emails we write to the list. When you use the contact form, Resend also delivers your message to our inbox. Resend’s privacy notice is at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and briefly processes form submissions as they pass through. Cloudflare also keeps short-lived edge logs that may include your IP address, which it uses to keep the site reliable and secure. See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
- Google Fonts serves the typeface used on this site directly to your browser. Google may receive your IP address as part of that request. See policies.google.com/privacy.
These services are based primarily in the United States, so your information may be processed there. We don’t share your information with anyone else, and we don’t sell it.
How we protect it
We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe. Form submissions travel over HTTPS, the services we use are run by reputable providers, and we only give access to people and services that actually need it. No system is perfect, but we try to store as little as we can so there isn’t much to lose in the first place.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist emails stay on the list until you ask us to remove you, or until we retire the list.
- Messages you send through the contact form stay in our email inbox under our normal email retention. If you’d like us to delete a specific thread, tell us and we will.
Your choices
You can ask us, at any time, to:
- show you what information we hold about you,
- correct it,
- delete it, or
- take you off the waitlist.
Email us at [email protected] or use the contact form and we’ll take care of it. If we haven’t resolved your concern, you can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and change the “last updated” date above.
